Spoiler alert: it’s a total gamechanger

We’re big fans of Ricky sex toys here at Women’s Health, so our curiosity was immediately piqued when we heard about the brand’s shiny new Match Up Couple Vibrator. As the name suggests, it’s designed to ‘level up sex in the bedroom’ by ‘transmitting intense vibrations during penetration to both you and your partner’.

Sounds great, but does it live up to the hype? We recruited a keen panel of testers to give the luxury vibe a whirl with their SOs. Over several weeks, they tried every feature – including speed settings, vibration modes and waterproof capabilities – before reporting back on their experience.

Back in the WH Lab, our experts assessed its ease of use, design, battery life and instructions to award the device an overall score.

The results are now in, and we’re thrilled to report it passed with flying colours. Scroll on to discover our final verdict, plus everything else you need to know before you *add to basket*.

Ricky’s Match Up Couple Vibrator has been designed for couples' play but can also be used solo. The U-shaped toy has two arms – the smaller one is insertable and sits inside the vagina to stimulate the G-spot, while also sending vibrations alongside the penis. Meanwhile, the longer arm snuggles against the clitoris for double the pleasure.

There’s a motor at each end, both delivering nine different vibration patterns, and the material itself is ultra flexible, so it can mould to the contours of your body. There’s also a wireless remote so you or your partner can adjust the settings during use.

Pros

Cons

The Match Up was a resounding hit with our panel, with everyone agreeing that it enhanced pleasure during intercourse. In fact, one satisfied tester told us it has ‘the wow factor’ and another said they’d recommend it to everyone, even beginners. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Though the U-bend design does take some getting used to and requires some manoeuvring to get it in the right position, it’s *the dream* once in place. The single control button means cycling through the settings is a cinch, and our testers thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with the nine different vibration modes – there’s something to suit everyone whether you’re into gentle murmurs or deep rumbling vibrations. The wireless remote also adds the fun factor and means you don’t have to stop what you’re doing when in the moment.

Sensational orgasms aside, everyone rated the well-thought-out design. The silicone feels extremely smooth against the skin, the device is refreshingly quiet (as vibrators go), and it comes with a cute silky bag that’s ideal for travel. On top of all that, it’s small, waterproof and very easy to clean.

There’s nothing like a sex toy running out of juice mid-session to kill the mood. Fortunately, this device boasts magnetic USB charging and takes around an hour to get to full charge. Once the battery is full, it will give you around an hour of use, which we’d say is decent.

You can buy the Match Up directly from Ricky’s website. Enjoy!
